Our 17 guest rooms have been thoughtfully curated to evoke a sense of sophisticated warmth and country comfort. 

We have moved away from the safe "hotel beige", instead wrapping our walls in the deep, evocative tones of Farrow & Ball’s jewel-toned palette. You’ll find rooms finished in:

Hague Blue: A deep, soulful navy that invites relaxation.

Radicchio: A bold, sophisticated crimson.

Preference Red: A rich, heritage hue that creates a cozy, regal atmosphere.

Tartan accessories

To balance these striking colours, every bed is dressed in white linens, ensuring a fresh and inviting sleep environment for our guests.

Versatile Space for Up to 50 Guests

Doonwood Hall is designed for togetherness. With a total capacity to sleep 50 guests, our room configurations are highly flexible to suit any group dynamic:

Intimate Duos: Elegant doubles and twins for couples or friends with a number off zip and link beds to convert to superking. 

The Dormitory: A large room featuring four King beds, comfortably sleeping 8 people—perfect for close-knit groups or for the children.

The 4 posters - two of the rooms feature 4 poster beds.

Accessibility and Ease

We believe accommodations should be accessible to everyone. Eight of our bedrooms are conveniently reachable via our internal lift from the Highland Hearth, ensuring that guests with limited mobility or heavy luggage can move through Doonwood Hall with ease. We have en-suite shower rooms that are suitable for guest mobility challenges.
